I will visit the site where the works are to be carried out. It really is essential to view the job to provide an accurate price. On most occaisions I will offer a written quote as opposed to an estimate. A quote is a binding agreement to the price whereas an estimate is subject to confirmation or change.
There may be occasions where it wont be possible to offer an acurate quotation.
For example when removing many layers of old wallpaper it is not possible beforehand to ascertain the condition of the plasterwork underneath. The plaster may or may not require replacing. The wall may require lining paper for example.
Where possible I will provide a quote as this way everyone knows where they stand.
Quotations/estimates are free of charge.
It will be made clear whether you are being given a quote or an estimate.
Quotations or estimates will be given in writing only, and will be comprehensive and detailed, so you will know what you are getting for your money.
There are no hidden charges.
Terms of payment will be made clear.
Fair and Competitive Prices
As a Dulux Select decorator I will quote you a fair and competitive price for the job. If you are comparing quotes make sure you compare like with like.
Beware - a "better" price from another decorator may be at the expense of vital preparatory work, or may mean using lower quality materials, which could affect the final results and the durability of the finish.
